The year 2023 has been overall versatile and truly interesting for us at HAVU. It's time to look back on everything that happened throughout the year. 2023 has been successful – our slogan was chosen as the best of the year, we released dark-toned wristwatches, and we fulfilled our customers' wishes with a slim watch design. Our range expanded with wooden earrings and wristbands compatible with Apple Watches. The popularity of HAVU products has grown all over Finland, with more and more satisfied customers proudly wearing HAVU wooden watches on their wrists.

Wood and Silver – Lightweight Jewelry for Every Occasion

The wooden earrings we launched early in the year have proven to be stylish for every moment. Crafted in Finland, these earrings feature only the best materials – domestic birch and genuine silver. Not only do the earrings charm with their appearance, but they are also designed to last without compromising on delightful lightweight comfort.

New Dark-Toned Watches

The dark-toned wristwatches Virta and Aura, finished with silver and gold details, have been more than welcome. We wanted to create high-quality and comfortable wristwatches and chose durable dark ebony wood as the material. We use metal sparingly, only in the first parts of the wristband, to ensure the watch withstands daily use. The watch face is finished with a wooden surface, ensuring a comfortable user experience. This way, the wristwatch does not feel cold in winter or cause discomfort in hot weather.

Customer Requests Guided Our Watch Designs

We always listen to our customers' wishes attentively, and this time it resulted in Kielo – a slim women's wristwatch. Kielo combines high-quality materials and components, creating an exceptionally stylish and comfortable user experience. This beautiful and simple watch is made of Finnish birch, and the parts subject to the most stress have been replaced with metal to maximize durability. Kielo has received praise from our customers, especially for its pleasant feeling on the wrist, thanks to the genuine wood on the watch face.

Trendy Apple Watch-Compatible Bands

Our latest innovation – wooden bands compatible with Apple Watches – have been a real hit! The wooden band offers a more allergy-friendly option compared to metal and silicone. Finally, you can say goodbye to sweaty, uncomfortable, and cold-feeling bands! And best of all, the wooden band gives your watch a whole new, modern look!

Apple Watch-compatible bands come in three different shades: light Finnish birch, dark ebony wood, and warm brown walnut. We know our customers value quality, which is why we chose only the best and most durable wood species.

"Aika näyttää hyvältä" is the Slogan of the Year

The Finnish Marketing Federation chose our slogan "Time Looks Good/Time to look good" as the slogan of the year. The slogan embodies our message of stylish wristwatches and unique design.

According to the jury, our slogan reflects the courage to stand out from the crowd. "A good slogan tickles the brain pleasantly and serves up the key customer promise and benefit on a plate, like Havu Watches does with its slogan of the year," says a member of the Marketing Federation's slogan committee.

The announcement of the slogan of the year was definitely one of the highlights of the year, and we at HAVU are grateful and proud of this recognition. It gives us the enthusiasm to continue developing our bold and unique brand.
