Nature is the essence of Havu watches. The Finnish name Korpi, refers to a deep forest or deep wilderness in which adventure and excitement are always present.

Designed in Oulu and inspired by the forests of Finland, the material is Finnish birch and a top-quality Miyota 8N24 automatic movement functions as the heart. It´s finally available. 

Finnish birch is used for the wooden parts and stainless steel for the metal parts. The glass is scratch-resistant sapphire glass. We made a firm decision in the selection of materials for this special watch - only the best will do. Korpi is a watch that will last decades of use at best.

Even though we built the world's most stylish automatic watch, we didn't compromise on comfort. We chose a wooden back for the watch so that it is pleasant on the wrist in every situation. The wood is not cold in the winter and does not feel sticky in the heat. The watch is also waterproof.

The beauty of the automatic movement in this watch lies in the fact that it does not have a battery. The mechanism gets its running energy from the movement of the wrist when it is in use. The mechanisms are also extremely durable and can last up to tens of years in use.

We wanted the design to allow the user to follow the movement of the mechanism without having to take the watch off. That's why we designed the dial plate so that the mechanism catches your eye every time you look at the time.
